Edward Warren

Partner Development Manager
SAGE INTACCT

CAREER JOURNEY

Ed has spent more than 25 years in sales, marketing, and business development roles in professional services firm. Seven of those year were spent at Top 200 and 100 CPA firms, SEK and PBMares. Typical marketing duties like proposal responses, web development projects, and developing content marketing strategies were part of those roles. During his tenure at PBMares he developed a passion for client advisory services (CAS). His true passion is helping CAS practice achieve profitable growth. That’s why his current role as Partner Development Manager at Sage Intacct is such a great fit.

WHY THEY'RE SHARING THEIR EXPERTISE AT SUMMIT

Ed believes the CAS has the potential to become the leading advisory service at CPA firms. Since CAS is still a relatively new offering, many firms have struggled to effectively define, productize, and price this new service. Because there’s no busy season with CAS, it has the potential to provide greater work-life balance than traditional compliance services. With the advent of CAS 2.0, practices have the potential to take the trusted advisor designation to the next level.
