Eric Majchrzak

Eric is responsible for the firm’s strategic direction while meeting the mission, vision, and values. He motivates and inspires team members to drive innovation and transformation so that the firm enhances its competitive advantage in providing value to clients. He also oversees the growth and success of BeachFleischman’s subsidiaries, joint ventures, and partnerships.

Jack Kolmansberger

Chief Growth Officer | Herbein

Jack Kolmansberger joined Herbein as CMO in 2008. Before Herbein, he had a great 12 year run as marketing director at Asher & Company, Inc. (which joined BDO in 2012). As CMO, he focused on strategic planning and the integration of marketing throughout the firm. In 2022, he was promoted to CGO.  He is charged with leading data analytics, business development, and client experience teams to drive profitable revenue.  Jack is the founding president of the chartered Greater Philadelphia Chapter of AAM. He worked alongside many incredible AAM members as secretary, vice president, and president of AAM’s national board of directors. In 2006, he was honored with the AAM Volunteer of the Year award, and he was inducted into AAM's Hall of Fame in 2018.

Joe Mastaler

Partner, Tax Services Leader | PB Mares

A licensed CPA in Virginia, Joe Mastaler has also earned a Master of Science Taxation (MST) and the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designation. Virginia Business magazine has twice named him a Super CPA for his work in the Corporate Tax practice category.

Joe loves accounting because it allows him to use numbers to help people, including business owners and high net worth individuals. He also enjoys growing the firm and our staff. Outside the firm, he served on the managing accounting practice committee of the Northern Chapter of the VSCPA and is a member, past president and current officer of the Washington Executive Association.

Joe contributes to his local community, including having participated in the Robinson Secondary School Athletic Boosters Club and the school’s All Night Graduation Party. Other previous service includes the Greater Williamsburg Area Chamber & Tourism Alliance, Williamsburg-James City County Education Foundation (founding member), TowneBank and Hospice House and Support Care of the Williamsburg Endowment Fund. He is also a graduate of the Civic Leadership Institute and Leadership Fairfax.

Katie Tolin

Katie Tolin is the co-founder of XcelLabs, an AI-first technology, training, and coaching company, where she’s helping transform the accounting profession by elevating advisory skills and preparing accountants to lead in an AI-first world. She is also the founder of CPA Growth Guides, where she serves as a consultant and outsourced chief growth officer, helping firms turn strategy into action across marketing, business development, product innovation, and client experience. A former in-house marketing leader, Katie has built a career developing data-driven, innovative programs that move firms forward. She is a former Accounting Marketer of the Year, one of the Top 100 Most Influential People in Public Accounting, and one of the Most Powerful Women in Accounting. She’s also a Hall of Fame inductee and past president of the Association for Accounting Marketing.
